Pre-Inspection	A pre-inspection is performed and discussed with the customer to ensure their requirements are met.
Pre-Vacuum	A commercial vacuum cleaner is used to extract dust, dirt, hair, crumbs, etc on areas requiring this step.
Pre-spray	A biodegradable solution is applied to breakdown soiling and spots.
Agitation	A rotary carpet buffer is used to break-up stubborn soiling and spots. Some carpets do not require this step.
Steam Carpet Cleaning	Carpet is steam cleaned (hot water extraction) providing a deep thorough clean. Our steam carpet cleaning process provides a superior carpet cleaning result than the rental/hire machine carpet shampoo method!
Rinse	A solution is added to remove any remaining residue to minimise re-soiling.
Spot Treatment	Any remaining spots are treated with the appropriate solution, cleaned and rinsed.
Deodorising	A deodoriser is applied to neutralise odours and give the carpet a fresh fragrance.

Air blowers can be supplied if rapid drying of the carpet is required. Additional charges will apply.

Dry Carpet Cleaning	The "Bonnet" cleaning method uses an electric powered rotary carpet buffer. A range of special absorbent fibre pads are used to agitate and draw-up the soiled particles onto the pad. The pad surface is changed when required to ensure maximum removal of the soiled particles.
Spot Treatment	Any remaining spots are treated with the appropriate solution.
Rinse	A solution is added to a fresh pad to remove remaining residue to minimise re-soiling.
Deodorising	A deodoriser is applied to neutralise odours and give the carpet a fresh fragrance.

Our advice if you are thinking of hiring a carpet shampoo cleaning machine

If you are considering renting a carpet cleaner from a supermarket, hardware store or hire shop - please think about these factors before proceeding.

• The carpet shampoo hire equipment and the cleaning solutions provided are very low spec. Typically, this concentrated detergent cleaning method produces a high level of foaming compared to the equipment and solutions we use. The end result is usually a carpet that has a sticky residue due to the detergent that remains in the carpet fibres. This promotes rapid re-soiling and the carpet will get dirty again in a short period of time.
• The cost of hiring (including the shampoo detergent, rinse, anti-foaming and spot cleaner) is typically $85-$100 (not including your time, fuel, parking fees, etc to wait, collect and return the machine)
• Hire machines often breakdown. You then need to return to the place of hire and hopefully get a replacement unit
• YOU do the actual cleaning and, it's not as easy as it looks! A job that takes a professional carpet cleaner 1 hour will probably take about 3 or more hours with a hire machine
• The results achieved by using a hire machine are no comparison to the results of a professional carpet cleaner
• The carpets usually take much longer to dry due to the low and ineffective suction power of many of the hire machines and, typically the area requires more water pumped into it to clean the area - resulting in damp areas of carpet.
• Many real estate agents and landlords will only return the bond upon proof of the job being done by a professional carpet cleaner

    nozzles are not blocked and the bag is not full

DONT's
• Do not use off the shelf carpet cleaning products unless you are certain of the results and it will not damage your carpet
    or cause harm to you
• Do not rub or dig when cleaning a spot on the carpet. Use a dabbing motion with a clean white cloth or paper towel
• Do not saturate a spot or stain with water or any other liquid, as this may spread the soiled area and possibly cause damage
    to the carpet backing, underlay and floor substructure
• Do not use hired carpet cleaners unless you are certain of the results. Improper use may damage your carpets or upholstery.
